Saeed Kureshi

A fine arts alumnus of the Puniab University, Saeed Kureshi, has had the privilege of being coached in art appreciation, drawing & painting by legends such as Anna Molka Ahmed, Zulqarnain Haider, Collin David & Bashir Mirza. He has participated in various art exhibitions and his paintings are displayed in public and private collections. He has made major contribution in the initial design & setup of the Pakistan Maritime Museum, Karachi, as a member the Museum Design Team. He also undertook the interior designing of the Pakistan Navy War College, and made numerous paintings, sculptures and a 23 feet oil-on-canvas mural. He has written extensively as an Art Critic for Dawn Newspaper, Nigaah Magazine, Glam Magazine among others. The artist has held the rank of Rear Admiral in the Pakistan Navy and was awarded Sitara-e-lmtiaz (M) for meritorious services.
