Shabana Nazir

Shabana nazir is the daughter of world acclaimed Ustad Bashir Ahmed. She has continued the family tradition of painting miniature artwork. She has made her presence felt with her peculiar style and mastery over miniature paintings. Shabana did not go through a traditional style school of Art but was rather taught by the Ustad Bashir Ahmed himself. She has served as a teacher at National College of Arts.

She has been famous for his soft-spoken nature. Her paintings are a marvel and currently available online and at the Art Gallery.

She has invested more than five years learning the art of painting miniatures. Her paintings have strong references to older prototypes. She reinvents all those paintings with a new surroundings and colors. She embraces old traditional ways of painting where most of the modern artists are subverting tradition in their paintings.
