Farzana Sadiq has lived for long periods in numerous countries:France, Netherlands, Croatia, Belgium and UK. She studied arts at Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (University of Arts, Utrecht) in Netherlands and continued her work with Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, Belgium.
Her work spans a wide variety of impressions bridging the colours of reality with fantasy, mystic and mythic touches. A subtle alchemy settles immediately between the observer and the piece where the ease of interpretation helps the observer feel part of a world, poised between everyday reality and a doorway to realms of mythical and magical lands.
Her artistic work, abstract expressionism, the intensity and depth is the fruit of a long personal journey marked by disturbing events, a great deal of introspection and an absolute fascination for all phenomena relating to the extra-sensory and the worlds she perceives.
Her works are instinctive, passionate, revealing thoughts and dreams expressed with particular sensitivity.
Farzana’s paintings have been exhibited in exhibitions throughout Croatia, Netherlands and Belgium.
