Mona Naqsh has expressed her aesthetic sensitivity by using flowers as her subject. Mona learned by example inspired by a floral still-life that her renowned father Jamil Naqsh had painted while she was still in her teens. By the process of painting, exploring aesthetic problems, searching for solutions and experimenting with media, she pursued her vocation with considerable success and her work has been acclaimed internationally.
In Mona’s paintings each collection is a new discovery. She works in diverse media and one responds to the translated beauty of nature with personal interpretation as the artist’s individual subject creates a feeling of intimacy with the viewer.
